Chocolate Brownie Crust
Chewy Brownie Crust
A tasty chewy brownie crust to go under any baked treat you can dream up.
- 1/2 avocado mashed
- 3/4 cup Erythritol
- 2 flax eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup spelt flour
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Prepare flax eggs in a small bowl and let stand for about 5 minutes.
Place avocado in a large mixing bowl. Mash.
Stir in the flax eggs, Erythritol, vanilla, baking powder and cocoa powder into the avocado. Whisk to combine.
Add the flour to your mixture. Switch to a wooden spoon and stir to combine.
Place the batter into a lightly greased (with EVOO) 9×9 pan and bake for 24-27 minutes. The brownies should start to pull away from the sides of the pan and be springy when touched. A toothpick will come out clean.
Remove from oven and place pan on a rack to cool.
1 flax egg = 2 Tbsp ground flaxseed meal + 3 Tbsp water
