It’s not dark out anymore!
When Payton was a baby (toddler, whatever), she’d wake me up by climbing on top of me and whispering, “Mama, it’s not dark out anymore! Mama, it’s not night anymore!”
My PayPay is going to be 15 soon…searching for great photos of her as a baby really shows how far cameras have come. These were taken on my 35mm Canon – a camera I was so excited to have at the time. Now, we walk around with better cameras on our phones. Parents with tiny kids:take advantage of this. Take shit loads of pictures now, because your kiddos will be big before you know it.It. #parentingcliches #parenting #mykids
About half an hour ago (10:30am on a Sunday), I whispered in her sleeping face, “Pay Pay, it’s not dark out anymore!”
She responded with a groan-mumble, “Mggggrfffll….Noooo.”
I guess she doesn’t think that’s cute, eh?
